Sculptor

I was born in and brought up in Wald-Pitztal, which is in the Austrian Region Tirol. I started my working career as a mechanic and followed up in the civil service where I was responsible for the service vehicles.

Tradition, art, layout and especially the Tirolean tradition have captivated me since I was a small child. In Tirol we have a very famous, carnival tradition that is called „Fasnacht“. I have studied the carnival mask (called Larven) for many years and I am now proud to say that I am an expert in making „Fasnacht Larven“.

Based on my new generated knowledge I tried to make a unique carnival mask (Larve) and that was the beginning of my career as a sculptor. If I was satisfied with my first work? Well for the beginning it wasn´t bad but I knew I can do it better. So I started to join woodcarving classes but that wasn´t enough for me so I was searching for something which helps me to make out of my passion a professionality.

My career in sculpture began with the apprenticeship in autumn 2017 and since then I have created unique sculptures in many different art fields. I always relished moving onto to new challenges.

Creativity, passion, attention to detail, hard-work and endurance drive me to make every sculpture unique. I am looking forward to hearing from you and showing you my work or shaping an individual sculpture for you.
